My Road To Real Estate I graduated from Rowan College Of New Jersey (now Rowan University) back in 1994 and got my first "real job" working as an assistant manager for Kmart. Things did not look good for the company at that time so a few years later I went to work for T.J. Maxx as an Assistant Mgr. and Store Manager. I loved my time there, I worked there for almost 10 years working in many different stores in NJ, NY, PA and DE. My inlaws moved to the Hickory area about 6 years ago and my wife and I would come to visit at least once a year. Each time I came down I fell in love with the area more and more, and as my wife and I started our family we thought that this was the place for us to raise our family. We really miss our family in South Jersey though and we do go back to visit several times a year. Although I enjoyed working with T.J. Maxx, I always wanted to start my own business. I am a very independent person and developed a passion for renovating and decorating houses (I aquired this passion because we moved several times within NJ). I did some research and figured out how I could start my own business in the Hickory area. My wife is a teacher and we read that there was a need for teachers in NC so we took the plunge.She got a job as a middle school teacher in the area and I have been buying and selling homes exclusively for a little over a year. The only problem was that I missed interacting with people and working on homes by myself was a little lonely. I decided that the part of real estate I loved the most was the process of buying and selling homes. I love the thrill of the hunt and I love working with the public, so becoming a real estate agent was the logical choice for me to make. I am having the most fun I have ever had in my working career and I look forward to helping you sell your home, or buy the home of your dreams. Call me today and lets get started!!
